Alpharetta, Ga. – February 8, 2022 -- Sengled, the Smart Lighting Expert, is entering the home security market with its first Z-Wave light, which is now certified via Alarm.com, providing the convenience of quality smart lighting and Z-Wave’s highly secure communication protocol with AES 128-bit encryption.
Sengled LED smart lighting is the perfect complement to any home security system. Providing soft security features through properly placed and scheduled lighting, homeowners are often able to deter would-be intruders. Lights can also offer an extra level of safety by illuminating entryways when arriving home after dark. In addition to scheduling routines, the lights can also be controlled using an app, allowing the homeowner to turn them on or off or adjust the brightness even when they’re not at home.
The Sengled Z-Wave A19 Soft White LED Bulb works with the homeowner’s existing Z-Wave Plus™ or S2 Z-Wave hub. Z-Wave offers an advanced level of system compatibility, and the protocol is a great option for smart home power users as it can support up to 232 smart devices. The network protocol uses mesh technology, meaning each device added to the network acts as a signal repeater, expanding and strengthening the reach well beyond the home-base hub.
